Stephen L. Oseman

Mr. Oseman is the President and owner of OIA. Mr. Oseman graduated from the University of the South in 1971. After spending five years with the Ball Corporation, Mr. Oseman changed career directions and entered the insurance placement and services business.

In 1985, Mr. Oseman founded OIA and has grown this agency to one of the largest in the Mid-South. OIA currently manages insurance customer premiums totaling $40 million. Mr. Oseman is licensed in almost all states and specializes in the placement of insurance on large accounts.

Clarence E. Walker
Mr. Walker serves as Executive Vice President of OIA and is responsible for OIA’s insurance servicing, policy issuance, and account relationship.

Mr. Walker graduated from Rhodes College (formerly Southwestern) in 1976 and began his insurance career with Employers Insurance of Wausau. Mr. Walker worked for three major insurance companies before joining OIA in 1990.

Mr. Walker has completed the requisite training to become a member of the Certified Insurance Counselor Society and the Insurance Institute of America.

Cindy L. Kraft
Ms. Kraft is the Vice President of Marketing and is responsible for the placement of all new agency business and renewals.

Ms. Kraft began her insurance career with E.H. Crump & Company in 1975 and worked in various positions including service, marketing, and administration before joining OIA in 1985.

B. Deon Murray
Mr. Murray is Controller of OIA and is responsible for all aspects of accounting, including financial statement reporting and cash management. He is also responsible for computer system maintenance and serves as liaison between OIA and various software and hardware vendors.

Mr. Murray graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 1982 with a B.S. in Accounting. He joined OIA in 1988.

Gary Oseman Mr. Gary Oseman is a 1974 graduate of the University of Tennessee and has over 20 years of commercial insurance sales experience. He recently became Health Care Practice Leader after successfully building strong relationships in the health care industry.


OIA has a professional staff of 16 employees providing marketing, accounting, customer service, and sales.
